It has probably been 2 years since I’ve been active on myspace.com, especially since I’ve stepped back from the music scene as far as performing goes. In the past I had attempted a few custom myspace designs, however as has been well documented, myspace isn’t the most “designer friendly” platform around.

When my friend Jason Soloduik asked me to do a myspace design for him, I really wanted to help out. While it had been a while since I’d tinkered with it, I was up for the challenge to make myspace beautiful.

Jason wanted a sophisticated look to go along with his sophomore release. I wanted to emphasize the idea of freedom and renewal, a focal point of his new project. I kept a very clean, simple design with clear and easy to access navigation so people wouldn’t be confused by the custom myspace design.

Using a simple image of Jason, as well as the Helvetica typeface for the new logo, I was able to create a clean, sophisticated look that fans of Jason new and old will love.

The work Pat has done for me has been straight up professional and incredible. With little direction, Pat is able to make the most creative designs that exceed any expectations.
